Expanding Location Support Internationally with Global Postal Codes

We now support international postal codes, which allows all users to see and request live shows near them.

As an international team of comedy lovers, today Punchup is thrilled to announce that we have enabled a highly requested user feature - International Post Codes.  This feature will allow users to see and request shows near them, no matter where they live.

Prior to this update, only US Zip Codes were supported.  Now, within their Punchup profile, fans around the world can select their country, and enter their postal code.  The international postal code feature ensures that all users will be able to:

• See upcoming comedy shows near their home
• Receive tailored emails about shows in their area
• Request comedians book shows in their area

Punchup regularly leverages Postal Code information for users in order to provide up-to-date information about nearby comedy shows.  We are excited that this update ensures all users will now have accurate access to show information, and we (and our comics!) will have a better sense of where our International users are.  

If users would like to update their Postal Code, this can now be done by visiting their Profile page (on the top right of Punchup, within the three menu lines dropdown), and selecting the orange “Update” button on the Profile page to make a change:

When searching shows nearby, all users will now see a screen with shows, instead of just US users:
